The Economic and Environmental Costs of Energy Must Come Down

Alternate Energy America, and Nevada, needs to support and encourage research designed to improve the efficiency of photo-voltaic conversion of solar energy into electricity.

Energy Independence Alternate Energy may be five years from cost effectiveness, or it may be fifty. In the meantime, America has oil resources that should be developed now. We cannot pin all our hopes to bring our energy costs down on technology that is not yet "there".

Gas Taxes Nevada has some of the highest fuel taxes in America, and a state law that automatically raises our state taxes even higher in the event of a federal gas tax holiday or reduction. Government simply must stop its profligate growth on the backs of hardworking Nevada taxpayers.
