NRA Gives Beers an A Rating

During the 2007 legislative session, Senator Bob Beers worked with a bipartisan group of Senators to finally bring CCW permit reciprosity to Nevada. Now, Nevada will recognize other states' CCW permits, and those other states will recognize Nevada's. Sen. Beers has been advocating this since he was first elected to the Assembly in 1998.

Beers believes the Second Amendment to the US Constitution is very clear:

"the right of the people to keep and bear arms" is the bedrock of keeping Government free of tyranny.

Nevada's Constitution is even more clear. Nevada's founding fathers put it in the very first article: " Every citizen has the right to keep and bear arms for security and defense."
