Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except all those others that have been tried from time to time.

For the record, I believe global warming is probably similar to global cooling - as Wikipedia puts it, This hypothesis never had significant scientific support, but gained temporary popular attention due to press reports following a better understanding of ice age cycles and a slight downward trend of temperatures from the 1940s to the early 1970s.
Never one to be left off a bandwagon, I have requested legislation for the next session to reduce global warming.
