The joint Senate Finance and Assembly Ways & Means committees started meeting today. If you’d like to follow along, here is the “Executive Budget in Brief.” This document is the fastest way to get up to speed on how Nevada’s state government raises and spends its money.

The Governor has proposed that Nevada’s state government raise and spend its money in accordance with this document. For the next four and a half months, the legislature will� hear the details, then pass a final budget at the end of May.
