Bob Beers for Governor

Ty Me Kangaroo Down, Sport

February 8th, 2007

Ty Cobb, freshman Assemblymember from Reno, was forced to stand up to a whirlwind of politically correct breezes this week. Sebelius, the handsome devil, had the most fun synopsis. Cobb stood up pretty well, refusing to repudiate his vote.

My opinion? Cobb has cut his chances of getting moderate or conservative legislation passed in the Assembly clear back to the same chances every other member of the GOP Assembly caucus has.

I agree with Eric, and feel that Cobb has made points that will help him advance within the Republican Party (if there continues to be a Republican Party)

Pithy Bob…very pithy. I hope Cobb sticks to his guns as strongly during the committee and floor votes to come as he did during his ceremonial vote for Speaker. I must say, I like Cobb’s contraian vote.
