Spring is here (almost)
March 16th, 2008… and that makes limericists’ hearts soar. For example, I just got this in the email inbasket from Reno poet John Sandler…
KEEP HER FRETTING
Cheeky Titus frets, “Levies are low.
Folks are keeping too much of their dough,
And I can’t make them pay
With Bob Beers in my way,
So that tax-fighting b—–d must go.”

Taxitus is a bit more than “Cheeky”. To bog us down with needless taxes just to satisfy her craving to spend, spend, spend is UnAmerican.
When will she learn? The answer is, ‘PROBABLY NEVER.’

Dina Titus is a (probably tenured) college professor.
Her lack of any grasp of reality is obvious. (My apologies to most of those professors who stay away from politics.)

Dina has found Nirvana in psychology. She is blissfully wealthy and now wants power supplied by burning the fuel of an ingnorant populace. The socialistic parallels are clear. Once the system opposes her, she will fade from her “flock”, leaving them to die and taking her “rightful” place in her paradise. Wake up and smell the stink, people. There have not been better clues for you than her overt statements to take all your wealth for herself (oops, I mean the Government). Please, think a bit for the good of our Constitutional society.
Just ask yourself….what has she done personally (i.e. not with your money) to advance our society? You will find that the answer is…….surprisingly little (probably nothing since robbing a State is pretty much a full-time job).
