I have introduced a bill to require Nevada’s Medicaid prices to be published on the internet. I first heard the idea at an ALEC conference last year. The idea is that publishing the state’s negotiated prices will give uninsured Nevadans the ability to negotiate how much they have to pay doctors, dentists, eyeglass salesmen and other medical providers by letting them know how much government pays for what they want.

Turns out, the state’s medicaid managers already post as much of their pricing schedule as they can. Here it is.
