The pro-illegal, open-borders lobby cry, “racist,” whenever they want to quell debate and intimidate the opposition, similar to how the corrupt church in medieval Europe used to use the word heretic to silence anyone with dissenting views.

Making English the offical language of state government in Nevada not only makes fiscal sense, because documents for publication don’t have to be printed twice, it makes sense culturally, because it encourages non-English speakers to take a big step towards assimilating into our culture by learning the common language.

Our immigrant forebears learned English and assimilated. The current wave of immigrants needs to do the same.

I read that one-sided hit piece you mention in the bird cage liner known as the RGJ. What a joke! Anyone with an ounce of sense could see it for what it was.

You are, once again, spot on! When I worked in a government agency we would spend twice as much to print half the supply of forms and booklets in foreign languages. It is a ridiculous waste of precious resources. If people need help, then let them bring a dictionary or translator with them at their expense.
