Nevada Constitution
April 23rd, 2007I got an email last week from a Clark County teacher last week who notes that in Article 1, Section 11, of Nevada’s Constitution, it says this:
He further notes that this section of Nevada’s Constitution is missing from the study guide for people who have to take a Nevada Constitution test in order to get a permanent teaching license in Nevada.

What a great liberal concept. Indoctrinate, not educate, the next generation to believe that we can have a constitution without the right to bear arms.
Come to think of it, I know from history of a government that:
1) Disarmed their citizens to “protect them from crime.”
2) Banned the use of tobacco in public and government buildings, levying fines and other penalties for those in violation.
3) Embraced the theory of eugenics – the social philosophy of creating better societies through government mandated breeding and sterilization (today referred to as abortion and partial birth abortion) and.
4) Did everything they could to silence any voice of contrarianism.
The country was Germany, the government was the National Socialist (Nazi) Party under – you guessed it – Adolf Hitler.
Would I be too insensitive if I evoked the suggestion that Adolph Hitler with his anti-tobacco, anti-religion, anti gun, pro-animal rights, pro-environment (global warming), and pro-government intrusion would find success as a modern day liberal?

The Constitution of the United States of America, in the 2nd, states…Right to bear arms.
The State of Nevada issues a Concealed Carry Weapon License to all thagt qualify, attend shooling, quality (Shoot), and pass a stringent background check complete with fingerprinting. The license is ‘carry specific’ meaning a licensee may only carry the particular pistol(s) that was qualified with and is registered.
If everyone who has the qualifications to carry concealed did we may possibly eradicate gangs and armed robberies as the robber would know..”Maybe that old man will shoot me if I try this robbery!”
The ‘do gooders’ that refuse to see the value of this are the guys and girls that never recieved gun training or are afraid of loud noises! Namby pambies!

I would just as soon see the “hunting” part taken out. That is my litmus test for candidates. If they mention “hunting” when talking about the second amendment, they don’t get it. It’s real simple, when the tyrants came for the weapons, all throughout history, the people gave them up, with Lexington and Concord being one of the very few exceptions. And watch out in the next 4 years for legislation banning components for the importation, or manufacture of ammo. That will be the democrats strategy, keep and bear all the arms you want, you just won’t be able to get ammo.
