I understand that there is a trend throughout the country in state budgeting to reduce prison population to free up money for other stuff.

Will Nevada follow this trend?

I fear that this will result in higher crime rates. I know that they are targeting the drug user population. These population often will rob people or break into houses or sell drugs to fund their habit.

Has public safety become a low priority?
