Good News on Graduation Rates
May 8th, 2007Nevada’s largest school district reports graduation rates increased last school year.
The reason? Nevada’s high school proficiency exam, created by a bunch of lawmakers convinced that children achieve to the level of expectations set for them. If you want higher performance, you merely need to raise expectations, especially when those expectations are as low as they’ve fallen in the Clark County School District.

I wonder how many graduated with the “adjusted” diploma? For those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s a fancy attendance certificate.
