Long Nasty Race
May 11th, 2008The mudslinging begins.
Unbeknownst to me, a friend purchased votebeersout.com some time ago to prevent someone from using it for dirty tricks. Today, he reported that he had been offered $500 to sell it.
Sounds like my opponent isn’t going to play nice.

If you want a termj that describes any Democrat Candidate to a ‘T,’ just label him/her as Overly unctuous.’
As an example, Dina Titus is smug, ingratiating and exudes false earnestness and is spiritually bankrupt.
Easeir said, Dina Titus is unctuous.
OK?

With Titus all wrapped up in her Congressional dreams now, who’s going to mentor your opponent “nice” opponent and tell her what to say? She knows nothing about the issues and she has a track record of failure as a business owner. She’s completely inept.

Well first let me say that I am neither a Democrate or Republich but a Free Spirit that votes for America and what I believe to be the best choice for it always, even if it goes against me America First and Formost. That is why you Mr. Beers will have my vote always because I have worked with you as a fellow volunteer in the annual Science Bowl where you gave up your valuable time to work for the benefit of our young people. Where were any opponents that very long day? Do they ever do anything of an equivalent nature?

It is funny how many free spirits there are. I agree with Rich that actions speak louder than words, but we all seem to fall for the words and do not monitor the actions (for instance, stopping earmarks as promised by Nancy Pelosi, or maybe the reduction of gas prices as she promised also). If you do not know Bob, please get to know him. I am very cynical about most politicians in that they say one thing to the public and another in private. This is a way of life for them if they want to have a “political career”. Bob is different. He is clear in his ideals and tough in his defense of them. He is also giving of his own time, as Rich pointed out. Anyway, we need to look at the whole picture when we vote and put the long-term survival of America first. Becoming enslaved to government services does not seem to lend itself to that end. Thanks, Bob and keep fighting. You have more supporters than you know.
With Dina declawed (even if she makes it to Congress, she will be ineffective for at least 6, and probably more like 10 years in office), Bob has a much greater chance of stopping the endless increase in “services” provided by Nevada. It is a unique opportunity and we should not pass it up. With Dina gone, we have a powerful socialist voice removed from our State (at least directly) and such a trend can only help. Note that Porter has become much more like Dina so the voters in their district really have no clear decision to make.

Hopefully, Bob, this election will be a battle of wits and I can assure you that they are unarmed. If they can think of nothing more creative than a web site with a catchy name, you seem to be playing with amateurs. Nevertheless, the power of silly catch phrases and emotional digs cannot be underestimated. The grass-roots are active in this campaign and I have great confidence that people will come to their senses. With Dina gone, you will have the best chance ever to do some good. I would venture to guess that votebobbeersout.com is still available, but maybe they will not think to try that one. OOPS, I hope they don’t read this blog.
