And what about the quality? The socialists point to Canada as proof that socializing medicine doesn’t lower quality.
Tell that to Parliament member Belinda Stronach. Afflicted with breast cancer, she chose to get it treated in America.
This article on Canada’s socialized television network reports the news… especially the reaction. Some commenters seem to think the media is picking on MP Stronach, when it seems to me the point is that forcing an important science/profession/art like medicine into the mediocrity machine of government services ruins the quality.
If we adopt the Clinton/Obama plan of socialized medicine, where will the Canadians go when they’re really sick?
