Hurricane Katrina - whose horrendous damage, in my opinion, had more to do with seaside humans living 18 feet below sea level than it did with the hurricane itself - almost singlehandedly generated the script for Al Gore’s movie suggesting humankind was responsible for global warming. Climate researchers sure didn’t.

If you recall, Katrina was merely a small example of the increasing ferocity of hurricane seasons, and clearly portended a much worse fate to come, and soon.

Except Atlantic hurricane seasons appear to have become steadily milder since Katrina (climateaudit.org).
