Our Next President
October 7th, 2007This is pretty interesting.
Minnesota Public Radio put together this online quiz - 11 questions - that compares your political views to those of our Presidential candidates.
I bit, and here are my results:
John McCain 44 Fred Thompson 40 Duncan Hunter 40 Mike Huckaby 36 Tom Tancredo 33 Sam Brownback 33 Jim Gilmore 32 Rudy Giuliani 29 Mitt Romney 29 Ron Paul 25 Joe Biden 24 Bill Richardson 17 John Edwards 10 Barack Obama 7 Hillary Clinton 7 Dennis Kucinich 3
This explains why I think any one of the Republican candidates would guide our nation better than any one of the Democrat candidates.
When I mix in who I think can win, I really like Fred Thompson.

As long as the winner is a Republican I will celebrate. That is except if Ron Paul won! Booooo
Hillary, Edwards, Obama, Dodd and all the Dems have but one thing in common: each has their own way of destroying American values!
‘Hands Up’ Harry Reid and Nany Pelosi caqn only remain in their positions so long as a Dem gets elected. Failing that, they will be scapped like the the Bills they attempt to pass respecting Iraq are!
To date 40 lost, 1 Vetoed…yet…here come another one…

Dear Mr. Beers,
I supported you last year in your bid for governor. I believed very strongly that you would make a better state gov. than the other choices. I am also pleased that you are participating in the GOP State Caucus training.
I would like to encourage you to carefully examine your Republican roots and re-accquaint yourself with the philosophy of Reagan-Goldwater. I am disturbed at the course that our Republican party has taken and worry about the neoconservative influence of Dick Cheney, the Bushes, Norman Podhertz, and Bill Kristol. This is why I support Dr. Ron Paul for president in 2008 and would encourage you to do the same. After examining the issues from a true conservative “Old Right” position I think you will agree that he is the most sincere, genuine, and committed Republican candidate.
Below are some websites where you can learn more about small government Republicanism, Dr. Paul, and how your views match his if you are a true conservative Republican:

The Ron Paul Revolution is a movement that goes beyond a candidacy and will, over the next few years, dramatically change the GOP nationwide at both the state and local levels as we elect true conservatives as party officers. It is the insidious infiltration of left-leaning neo-cons into the Republican party that is a truer danger to America that openly liberal Democrats. Former liberal pretending conservative positions are destroying our party. It is my hope that you connect with your Republican roots and challenge the neoconservative politicians (like Ensign and Porter) that masquerade as Republicans.
Sincerely,
Andrew J. Brownson
