Debate Note: Huckabee’s a Nice Guy
November 28th, 2007And so is Kenny Guinn. But they share tax-and-spend addictions and taxpayer disrespect so far left of normal Republicans that they live under the very edge of the remarkably broad GOP tent.
Here’s Kenny Huckabee…

We all know that Rudy’s the one who’s going to pick up the foreign policy gauntlet - certainly the only one of them with the will and capability. Michael Eisenstadt wrote a great piece tonight about the lessons of Annapolis and puts Rudy vs. Mitt in that context. Pretty provocative stuff: http://michaeleisenstadt.com/2007/11/28/a-lesson-learned/

I have a feeling “Rudy” will be “installed” next time around. I can think of nothing worse than more of the same - which is what I think he will deliver. His failings before and after 9/11 are many. We don’t need another failure in the White House destroying the party and more importantly the country. The only thing that Rudy has an interest in improving is Rudy on the backs of those who died and continue to suffer in 9/11 - the worst kind of exploitation. He and Hillary are one in the same.

I just read the Club for Growth anaylsis of Rudy and also
Ron Paul. Although I am a Liberatarian Republican first and
foremost and I agree with Ron Paul on many things including eliminating the income tax, I’m going with Rudy. He’s a tough man in a tough world. Imperfect human (I like that). My sister said after watching the debate. We need an asshole in the White House because we’re not dealing with a perf.ect world. I agree, my vote will go to Rudy.
To Doug, Rudy is a far cry from Hillary the nanny stater

Hear’s a newsflash!!! NONE OF THE CANDIDTES WILL DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY WILL. Listening to the debate is like smoking dope. It makes you feel good while it destroys your means to reason. No candidate elected will do anything besides what their handlers (campaign contributors and lobbyists) tell them to do. If you fall for the hype, the hyper will bury you. I will go one further than Doug…..none of the candidates are different when it comes to their convictions. None have a backbone or a conscience. They are all puppets. It is embarassing to have a Constitution that gives the people control over their Government, yet they will not see far enough to use it. You will learn more about “election issues” from watching American Idol, but, granted,it will not be as entertaining as the debates (if you can stand one-line comedy).
