Absolutely mind-boggling.
The majority on the Assembly Ways & Means Committee today voted to build a 100-bed transitional housing facility for prisoners who are close to release.
The Prisons Director testified that we have over 100-beds empty at Casa Grande, the state’s halfway house, and that the new beds would not be used.
